Casa D-due

All D-due garments are designed and produced in the same place: a studio-workshop located in a small coastal town. Design and atelier coexist under one roof, allowing ideas to move directly from sketch and pattern to fabric and final piece.

This proximity defines a working method based on continuity, precision and constant dialogue between studio and workshop. Traditional techniques are revisited alongside new approaches, so each garment emerges as a singular expression of a shared process.

Studio

The studio is a place of transformation.

References drawn from literature, art, graphic design or architecture are not treated as inspiration, but as material to be interpreted, edited and transformed into concrete decisions. Here, ideas are refined through process, shaping collections with clarity, intention and restraint.

Lifestyle

Everyday life forms a quiet backdrop to D-due’s work.

Domestic spaces, simple rituals, objects and landscapes accompany the process without illustrating it directly, shaping a sensibility grounded in proximity, use and continuity.

Location

D-due is based in Galicia, a territory shaped by the Atlantic coast and rural landscapes. The relationship with the sea, shifting light and damp climate defines a physical environment where work unfolds slowly, closely connected to place and daily life.

History

Founded as a family business, D-due grew from a long tradition of pattern making and garment construction.

Knowledge passed down through generations established a commitment to quality, craft and independence that continues to be the driving force behind the brand’s work today.

Manifesto D-due

01To maintain and disseminate the knowledge of dressmaking and sewing, through design, as a capital value that generates economy and culture.
02To build a story, from each collection, which describes the vital space to which we belong.
03To advance in a working model that defends a proposal from the rural environment with a cosmopolitan vocation.
04To recover manufacturing formulas and language linked to craftmanship, manual work and tradition.
05To also transmit our values and knowledge through the academic framework.
06To make a lasting product in terms of quality and design that has an impact on sustainability.
07Not to depend on trends, favouring responsible consumption.
08To understand our work as something lasting.
09To preferably work with local suppliers.
10To understand the creative experience as a fertile dialogue between art and design.
11To understand design from the point of view of function and emotion.
12To maintain a production system that stimulates the local economy.
