Each D-due LAB collection tells a story. This is a winter tale made of drawings, forests and migratory birds.
I sit at my desk to draw after a long walk through the woods. A coniferous forest emerges from the pencil. I think about the places I have visited and, little by little, a winter landscape fills the paper.
The drawings of the nature will help me to remember the sites I have visited during my excursion.
The hut, the fir trees and the migratory birds begin to surface. The storks flap their wings in the autumn wind preparing their trip to warmer lands.
Roses born from the inkwell accumulated creating clouds of petals.
Everything is becoming unreal. In my paintings people are pencil-boxes walking through autumn lanes.
The storks with their graphite beaks point to the sky. The African destination is waiting for them against the cold…
In my dream, I am also a bird among the beasts.
Being overcome by sleep I tidy up my staff and close the notebook that holds the reward of a working day.
